spaghetti squash – my mom loves to roast it, with sausage and red sauce! or meatballs. She freezes half for later.
apples – mom also loves to make baked apples, she stuffs the core space with raisins, nuts and sprinkles with cinnamon sugar, and butter and then fills the pan with a little water. Then, to be truly decadent, pour cream or ice cream on top!

We had many delaying issues including wet, wet, weather which made it necessary for us to start next week. More info will be forthcoming on the schedule and drop sites, so stay posted! Please let us know if you have questions about anything, or concerns about the delay in starting.

We have enjoyed three continuous years of a brick and mortar indoor farmers market here in Richmond. On the first week of October, we will be closing our retail market and are returning our energies towards our mobile market, “The FARMBUS,” school visits, and to our growing CSA program in RVA and Washington DC. The last day of the current market season is Friday, 10/4. We have enjoyed having our little retail store, but we need a break and will be readdressing an opening next spring.
We will be taking a small vacation the second week of October, and will commence the Fall/Winter season of our CSA when we return, delivering to Washington, DC’s Capitol Hill area and our Richmond subscribers. We will continue to bring you products from our wonderful vendors and farmers, and anticipate few changes other than we will no longer have the brick and mortar retail arm for the fall winter season.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
We appreciate all of your support over the years and look forward to a productive Fall season!
